There are so many companies that say they will pay you to take surveys that it is hard to determine which ones are legit and which ones are scams.

Even if it is legit, it may be hard to determine if it is worth the time.

Inboxpays is no different.  They say they will send you surveys and you will get paid for doing them.

Are they a scam, or are they for real?

Check out this inbox pays reviews to find out more.

How Does It Work?

Inbox pays is like most other survey companies, in that they send you surveys to fill out and pay you for those you complete.

They also offer paid emails, and there are some gaming opportunities as well.

The paid emails typically pay after you click through and complete offers, and most of the offers you have to complete to get paid are not free.

That said, it is pretty general survey company type fare.

How Much Can I Make?

Inbox Pays offers cash payments through PayPal rather than points, which is a plus for many.  The pay per survey ranges from $.50 to $1.00, and they can take up to a half hour generally.

The drawback here is that you have to have a $50 balance before you can cash out.  With such low paying surveys that could take quite a while to complete, it may frustrating to try to reach this amount.

They do offer a $5 sign up bonus to help out, and the referral program can help as well.

For each friend, you refer that signs up, you get 10% of what they make.  This is credited to your account after they cash out though, so again, it could take a while.

The other catch is that they only pay in $50 increments, so if your balance is over $50 but less than $100, you only get $50 at cash out.

The same is true for a balance over $100, $150, and so on.  Any remaining balance over the $50 increment is carried over to the next cash out.

They pay on the 1st or 15th of the month.  There is a 30 day waiting period after submission if phone verified.

Who Can Sign Up for Inbox Pays?

Anyone who is 18 years old or older and lives in the United States can sign up.

Tell Me About the Other Ways to Make Money

Cash Emails

Inbox Pays will send you emails that you get paid to read.  When you cash out, a maximum of $25 in your balance can be cashed out from paid emails.

This means that if you meet the $50 balance requirement, but $30 of that balance is from cash emails, you cannot cash out.

Also, cash mails confirmed through a mobile device are not counted, so be sure to open them on a PC, not a phone or other mobile device.

Three emails are sent per day, and they are worth $.25 each for clicking on the image.

Spinwheel

Occasionally you may get the opportunity to spin the wheel for credits and offers.  When you cash out, you have to have a minimum of $25 of offers or credits from Spinwheel.

This comes in to play at the same time as the cash email maximum so that it can get kind of complicated.

Incentives from Completed Offers

These are paid directly by partner sites, not inbox pays.  They can sometimes take 6 to 8 weeks to receive.

Inbox pays offers support, and with help, track offers earned from partners through their site, but they make no guarantees.

Does My Balance Ever Expire?

Technically no, but if you are inactive for 3 months, your account will be deactivated.

If this happens, your funds will be forfeited.

Will My Information Be Kept Private?

Inbox Pays says they keep all information private and will not sell it to 3rd parties.

If you read closely, however, you will note that this does not include “trusted” partner sites.

These are those companies that provide the incentive offers for the paid emails.

Those companies do have access to your information.

The Nitty Gritty:

  • Earn cash, not points.
  • Must have at least a $50 balance with no more than $25 being from paid emails and no less than $25 from Spinwheel.
  • Your information is private except from third-party partners.
  • Inbox Pays can help you track incentives from third party offers, but cannot guarantee them.

Summary of Ways to Earn:

  • Paid emails are sent three times per day and are worth $.25 per click. These are completely voluntary.
  • Surveys pay from $.50 to $1 each if completed.
  • Opportunities to play the Spinwheel game.
  • The referral program pays 10% of what those you refer make. This posts to your account after they are paid.

This company probably pays if you meet all the requirements.

I suspect most of those complaining about not being paid missed the part about the $25 minimum for Spinwheel and maximum for paid emails.

The payout threshold is higher than most.  It could take a while to reach it.

Finding someone who has actually made it to the required balance and met all of the criteria to cash out isn’t easy.

It doesn’t cost anything to sign up, but some of the offers do cost money, so make sure you are willing to spend with the potential of not getting paid.

As always, be sure you use your dedicated survey email address if you sign up to avoid spam in your main account and keep your survey information organized.

The real question is, is it worth your time to find out?

Only you can answer this.  If you find surveys and paid offers fun, give it a shot.
