A company may send you an invitation to a pre-screening survey with a few questions that help the company know if you’re a good fit to complete the full questionnaire.

If your information matches what the company is looking for, then someone will call you to complete the full survey.

If not, you’ll get “screened out” of the survey, and you’ll need to wait for another invitation.

Once you’re on a call for a survey, be sure to go to a distraction-free area.

Find a room with a door you can close, turn off the TV or radio, and make sure you have a few minutes of kid-free and pet-free time so that you can hear all the questions correctly and your interviewer can hear you.

The interviewer will go over some information, like what the survey is about, how much you’ll make, and any special instructions.

Be sure to listen to each question in its entirety before responding, and then give thought to each answer.
